This Children’s Day, we celebrated the bravest kids in Singapore the best way we know how: up in the trees! On 3rd and 4th October 2026, families joined us at Houbii Spot, the outdoor rope course inside Singapore Zoo at Mandai, for a weekend full of climbing, cheering and proud little faces.

What happened on Children’s Day weekend

To make the day extra special, the first 50 children to climb each day received a free Houbii Spot climbing certificate. That’s 100 certificates across the weekend, each one earned by a young adventurer who took on the course. [All 100 certificates were claimed by 3pm on both days!]

Our youngest climbers tackled the Mini Course, while older kids took on The Real Thing, with many parents climbing alongside them. We saw first-timers who were nervous at the start finish with huge grins. We saw siblings cheering each other on, and kids who couldn’t wait to show off their certificates. That boost of confidence and courage is exactly why we love what we do.
